The Community Center has been part of the Estate since around 1972 and should be the life of the Estate, but is not being used as it should.
For a while Peddlers Way have owned the Community Center and are now going to hand it back to Breckland Council as it wasn't earning enough to cover running costs, so at this precise moment in time no one knows whats going to happen to the Community Center, so lets Save Our Community Center and start using it before it gets boarded up.....
The Community Center is off great size and use for Party's, Weddings, Clubs and for Youth Projects.
It has a large hall with a stage and also a small comfy room for meetings or even examination center use, the uses are unlimited.
The Community Center has full kitchen area, male / female and disabled toilets.
Tony Stead has been managing the Community Center for a number of years now and hopes that the Redcastle Furze Estate will pull together to start using the hall which when Breckland Council see its being used and covering it's own cost's it will Save the Community Center.
